Why We Built This Site
Georgia gives the public broad access to many court and agency records, but Sumter County records are not all kept in one database. The Clerk of Superior / State Court maintains Superior Court and State Court civil and criminal files, county traffic cases, real-estate recordings, liens, UCC filings, trade names, and notary commissions. Probate Court handles estates, guardianships, conservatorships, marriage licenses, and historical or genealogy matters. The Sheriff's Office and jail roster handle custody and recent-arrest information, while statewide tools such as GSCCCA eCertification, re:SearchGA, Georgia Department of Corrections search, and Georgia vital-record channels fill in separate pieces. We pull together the contact details, search portals, fee schedules, and request steps for each of these offices into one place.

- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now
Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
